Blair West are working in partnership with Growth Partner on a retained assignment to help them find their next Investment Associate.

Growth partner was formed in 2015 and invest in fast growth consumer challenger brands, supporting them on their journey.

This is a role that will suit a degree educated, intelligent graduate with a passion for investment and private equity.


The opportunity:


  • Driving the identification and initial screening and appraisal of new investment opportunities.
  • Supporting origination and all aspects of new business development.
  • Supporting market research into new ideas and business opportunities, including market research studies (online desktop research, surveys, focus groups).
  • Researching and preparing detailed case studies, discussion documents and recommendations based on internal and external learnings.
  • Preparing internal and external presentations on behalf of the wider Investment Team.
  • Attending meetings with new businesses and identifying and briefing potential partners e.g., marketing agencies and search firms.
  • Supporting the senior Investment Team's daytoday management and efficiency: preparing briefing notes for meetings, daily actions/follow ups, technology support.
  • Support the organisation and management of 'value add' events which help connect our partners with each other and with industry experts
  • Graduate with at least 2.1 or equivalent ideally in a relevant discipline (Mathematics, Finance, Economics, or Business Management).
  • Experience of working or travelling outside of the UK and adapting to other cultures.
  • Has made a significant impact in a particular area of interest such as Charity, Volunteering, Politics, Education, Sports etc.
  • Will be intelligent, adaptable, creative and confident.
