About the Role:


As the Procurement Lead, you will be instrumental in managing their strategic procurement operations, with a specific focus on indirect spend.

You will provide sourcing support to our regional Business Partners, handling categories not managed by the Global Category Management team or requiring local sourcing.

Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing effective procurement strategies, overseeing a team of procurement specialists/buyers, and driving cost savings through optimised purchasing processes.

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following:


Proven Experience:
Demonstrated experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and supplier management, in a leadership role.


Procurement Best Practices:
Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, market dynamics, and legal/regulatory requirements in the UK and Ireland.


Leadership Skills:
Ability to manage and develop a team, creating a collaborative and high-performance culture.


Negotiation and Analysis:
Excellent negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills. Proficiency in data analysis, financial acumen, and translating insights into actionable strategies.


Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.


Procurement Tools and Systems:
Proficiency in procurement tools, systems, and software.
