You will assist the Finance Business Partner in providing accurate and timely financial information, tools, analysis and insight to executives.


You will work closely with projects and business units creating a real and active partnership with both operations and management to facilitate confident decision making.


You will maintain regular processing requirements in line with contract deadlines and deliver prompt, accurate financial reporting as both an integrated member of the project team and trusted finance representative.

Timely and robust feedback via financial business intelligence will allow greater cost control against contracts and serve as early warning indicator to Project Leaders.


Key responsibilities

  • Maintain live Job Codes Listing
  • Monitor POs raised, ensure correct coding and liaise with project team to ensure open balances are required
  • Weekly Reporting, including but not limited to; Third Party Costs, Labour Reports, Agency Reports, Outstanding Commitments
  • Raise Customer Sales Invoices
  • Prepare first draft of Month End Dashboard
  • Understanding cost drivers of the project, and highlighting trends
  • Weekly Project Cash Flow Reporting
  • Adhoc support and analysis to the Project and wider finance department and business
  • Other adhoc duties as requested by the department

Requirements:


  • Excellent Microsoft Skills, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Have the ability to work independently, as well as a team player
  • Previous experience of an Assistant Role within a busy Finance department
  • Previous experience of Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A clear understanding of Purchase and Sales ledger processing
  • Confident with working high volumes of data whilst maintaining high standard of accuracy
  • Able to identify, challenge and recommend process improvements
  • Strong focus on customer success
  • Organised and resilient under pressure
  • Positive attitude, keen passion for driving efficiency and selfdevelopment along with strong team orientation

Job Types:

Salary:
£25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
