Kitchen Porters are responsible at all times for the staff they are working with by ensuring each other's safety by following the company's health and safety procedures as laid out in their staff induction.
Main Responsibilities:
- Delivering a great customer experience
- Sorting and unloading deliveries
- Washing up procedures
- Cleanliness of the store
- Supporting good food hygiene practices

Mr Ttoffalli won best Fish and Chip Shop in the UK as voted by The Seafish Industry Authority and The British Potato Council in 1989.
In 1999 George and Costas Georgiou took over Toff's and ran it according to Mr T's winning formula, they won the Best British Restaurant in London as voted by the Archant group of newspapers in their Food and Drink Awards.
Furthermore, the two brothers took it to another level, literally, by expanding it to the first floor and adding the Captain's Table.
George sadly passed away in April 2020, however his wife Giga and son Christopher came on board to run Toffs to continue George's legacy.
In 2024, The Chesterford Group; a family run company whose love affair with fish & chips began in 1923 when Harold Lipscombe, a miner, and his wife saved all the money he earned from playing cricket to buy their first ever fish and chip shop in early 1923.
Hugh is still the company chairman today and along with his son James, the company's CEO they have grown the business to the 39 stores we have today.
With the purchase of Toffs Hugh and son James are looking forward to carrying on their family legacy of passionately exploring ways to deliver even better fish and chips to their customers, as well as cultivating a healthy obsession with cricketINDQS
