Summary

We are looking to appoint a reliable and approachable person to drive our school minibus.

The post-holder will be responsible for transporting students to and from school each morning and afternoon along a designated route.

The hours of work will be 7:15am - 8:45am and 3:00pm - 4:30pm Monday - Friday during term time only.

They will be required to carry out spot checks on the vehicle to ensure it is fit to drive and to transport students safely, ensuring their welfare and promoting good standards of behaviour while they are using the minibus.


The current hourly rate is £11.59 an hour but this will rise in April 2024 when the living wage rises come into effect.

We are currently awaiting confirmation of the hourly rates for the revised pay scales.

Essential Qualifications

UK driving licence with D1 to allow you to drive a minibus.

Desirable Qualifications

First Aid qualification (or willingness to undertake training
