BOOKKEEPER / PERMANENT VACANCY - HYBRID WORKING OPTIONS

Location:
Swindon, Trowbridge or Bath


Job type:
Permanent contract


Hours:
Full time / Monday to Friday

Salary:
Up to £25,000 per annum


Hawk 3 Talent Solutions, operating as an employment agency, are currently recruiting for a Bookkeeper for our clients accountancy practice in either their Swindon, Trowbridge or Bath office on a permanent basis with hybrid working options available - working from home 1 or 2 days a week.


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Preparing management accounts monthly and quarterly ensuring details are accurate with clear and net working papers to reflect the accounts produced and ensuring clear cross referencing
  • Manage and undertake bookkeeping for a variety of clients inputting data and processing payments as required
  • Monitoring work and liaising with clients to provide information as required
  • Manage and complete all VAT returns for allocated clients
  • Composing correspondence to clients, tax office, registrar of companies and others
  • Visiting clients sites as required to carry out bookkeeping and management accounts
  • Conducting training for relevant accounts packages when required, both internally and to clients

About you:


  • Good education in English and Maths
  • 2 years + bookkeeping experience
  • Experience preparing VAT returns
  • Use of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • AAT qualification would be desirable
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Prioritization and time management skills
  • Able to work to strict deadlines
