**Do you have a minimum of 3 years' experience in management of an ornamental nursery?

Do you have PA1 and PA6 spraying certificates and hold a forklift licence?**We are looking for a highly experienced horticultural individual who can effectively manage the nurseries.

You are to use your expertise to ensure plant losses are mínimal and that targets are met and within budget.


What your responsibilities will look like:

  • Overall ownership and the responsibility to look after the nurseries, its team and products.
  • Responsible for stock management and ensuring there are no short falls in stock.
  • Managing plant health and ensuring mínimal plant losses, using your knowledge to identify issues before they arise.
  • Continuously improving the efficiency of the growing process.
  • Liaising with the internal teams to ensure all departments needs are met.
  • Line managing staff by arranging yearly appraisals, training needs and disciplinary matters.

What you will need to bring to the role:

  • 3+ years' experience in management of an ornamental nursey.
  • A proven experience in building a team with strong team ethos.
  • PA1 and PA6 spraying certificates.
  • Forklift license.
  • A good working knowledge of irrigation systems and potting machines.
  • Horticultural qualification is desirable but not essential.
