Description

The Trust Darent Valley Hospital is the first in the country to be built under the governments Private Finance Initiative (PFI).A turnover of over £54 million, employing around 1,600 staff.
Tailor made to meet the needs of staff and patients.
Position will be based on the Queen Mary's Hospital site

The Position Essential:
Experienced medical typistAMSPAR or equivalentExcellent audio and word processing skillsFamiliarity with MS OfficeRSA Stage 3 or equivalent

Desirable:
Medical terminology in Breast, Oncology and General SurgeryKnowledge of PAS system useful but training will be given

The Person Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent organisational and administration skillsGood customer care skillsAbility to prioritise a busy workloadConfident approachWorking on own initiative and as part of SecretariatGood team worker with friendly personalityCommitted

Working days Monday to Friday (09:00am to 17:00pm) although shift patterns will be agreed by the line manager to meet the needs of the service.
