About the role
Trident Housing Group have an opportunity for a Lettings and Allocations Officer based in Birmingham City Centre.

Working within our Homes and Communities department you will be joining the Lettings and Allocations team at an exciting time as we continue to deliver a quality service to those in housing need and bring to life key areas of our Homes and Communities Strategy.


The purpose of the role


To be part of the Allocations & Lettings Team to address housing needs by allocating and letting Trident owned properties and nominating general needs properties.

The post will support the Team Manager and wider department, with an emphasis on providing excellent customer service, sustaining tenancies, maximising income, and achieving greater service efficiencies.


Your duties will include:


  • Undertaking a wide variety of administrative tasks including website enquiries, managing inbox correspondence.
  • Preparing occupancy agreements and shaping the signup packs and processes to meet customer and business needs
  • Actively participating in all aspects of void management including preparing notices, ensuring that all properties comply with health & safety legislation prior to letting, liaising with Local Authorities, attending voids meetings and reporting on KPIs
  • Developing positive working relationships with internal colleagues including our Customer Advisors, Technical Services Colleagues, Community Safety and Engagement Team, Housing Officers and Care and Support services.
  • Utilising Outlook, Word, Excel and our dedicated systems to their full advantage.
  • Diary management including booking viewings, assessments, attending meetings and personal development opportunities
