The post is full-time, fixed term contract for 12 months,The post requires the occupant to be resident during on-call periods.
The post-holder must hold full registration with the General Medical Council.
Salary scale:
Nodal Point - local appointment grade code - MT05
Out of hours commitment is applicable.
The post holder must be up to date with all mandatory and statutory training.
The post holder will gain clinical and operative skills under the direct supervision of the consultants within the Hip, Knee and Sarcoma Teams.
The post holder will conduct clinics, operating lists, ward rounds and assist with clinical management with the consultants and on behalf of the consultants' during their absence.
