Description

We need an experienced coder that can come in and start coding, preferably TCL, but whether they have Java, Python or another programming language experience that is wholesome to their CV then we can accommodate.

F5 Network engineers are not coders, they may have used an iRule here and there via F5 Vendor support, which is normal for F5 infrastructure engineers, but not sufficient, as LBG has a team specific for writing iRule code and not involved in the day-to-day activities F5 infrastructure engineers


Skillset:
-
Good knowledge of different components of F5 load balancer:


  • Good knowledge of TCL (Tool Command Language):

Experience on writing the advanced F5 iRules as per the business needs:


  • Should have trouble shooting experience for any kind of issues:

Experience on version control tool Github, CI/CD tool Jenkins:


  • Provide on-call support outside business hours:
  • Good to have the bash script and groovy script knowledge

Job Type:
Temporary contract

Contract length: 6 months


Salary:
£115.36-£562.50 per day


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends
