Salary:

£22, ,112 depending on depth and variety of experience in a similar role

Closing date: 18 February 2024

About the role:

We are looking for individuals who will enjoy delivering high quality clinical and personal care alongside fun activities, with high staff/children ratios allowing for you to make a real difference and make memories.

You will be part of a multi disciplinary team including nurses, nursing associates, health care assistants, activities coordinators and a child and family support team.

You will work as part of a 24/7 rota with the choice to do short or long shifts.

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and passionate individuals to provide children and young people (CYP's) palliative care working in the care team at the hospice.

Children's palliative care involves delivering short respite breaks aimed at having fun and 'adding life' to shortened years as well as end of life care and care after death.

We value the vital role of health care assistants within the hospice and on shift you will be allocated your own CYP to care for.

You do not need to have experience of working in palliative care or paediatrics as we offer a comprehensive development programme along with inhouse training which supports all our staff to achieve clinical skills and confidence.

This role will provide you with job satisfaction, knowing that every day you have given exceptional care. You will be provided with numerous development opportunities and will see what an exciting career palliative care can be.

Due to the remote location and lack of public transport, access to your own transport is essential.
