PR Executive

Role Responsibilities
Team support, press coverage tracking, media monitoring and administrative support.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Write pitches, news stories, articles, case studies and product pieces
  • Produce monthly and quarterly evaluation reports against key objectives
  • Monitor media coverage and report results, on a daily but also monthly basis
  • Assist in brainstorming fresh ideas for PR campaigns, and the development and delivery in those strategic campaigns
  • Support execution of creative ways into product or campaign launches, including but not limited to events, live or digital activations
  • Keep the larger content calendar/ PR planner and WIPs uptodate with ongoing activity
  • Flag any worthwhile editorial/content/awareness day opportunities in realtime and support content writing as required, often to tight deadlines
  • Work with Sr PR Execs and Managers to deliver a PR plan for every brand by conducting initial research and support materials
  • Be aware of, and proficient in, English grammar, messaging, writing, and the style of every brand
  • Accountable for media lists, contacts, relationships, outreach and sellins for each client this includes organising samples when required
  • Develop knowledge of brand activities and trends/issues for every brand

Role Requirements


You will:

  • Be an exceptional copywriter including editing and proofreading skills
  • You will have a proven track record of delivering excellent results for B2B clients
  • Have strong time management skills and ability to prioritise workload as required
  • Be familiar with media databases, forward features and press request tools such as Kantar and Cision
  • Hold a University degree or equivalent experience
  • Have the skills to build good relationships with key stakeholders, external influencers and media outlets
  • Hold existing business media relationships
  • Be skilled in using PR to drive business results
