Job Summary:
We are seeking a Facilities Assistant to join our team. The Facilities Assistant will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities. This is a hands-on role that requires a combination of technical skills and strong attention to detail.

Duties:

Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as repairing equipment and fixtures
Assist with the installation and repair of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
Conduct inspections to identify and address any maintenance issues
Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment needed for facility maintenance
Respond to work orders in a timely manner and prioritize tasks accordingly
Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Skills:

Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment
Familiarity with logic controllers and ability to read schematics
Basic electrical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs
Ability to weld or willingness to learn
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise others effectively
Customer serviceoriented approach when interacting with internal stakeholders
Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
