Job description

About the Role


You will be supporting the Insurance Manager in managing the Council's insurance covers, both externally and self-insured and to ensure that an excellent customer focussed service, complying with best professional practice and statutory / regulatory requirements, is provided to Warwickshire County Council and all external customers.


What are we looking for:

  • Achievement of or willingness to obtain the CII Certificate In Insurance
  • Professional manner, courteous and confident to liaise with colleagues, customers, brokers, insurers either face to face or over the telephone.
  • You must be able to work as part of a team but also have the ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Ability to analyse data
  • Good Microsoft Office Skills especially Excel.
  • Ability to drive as you may be required to attend site visits for claims, meetings or post loss assessments.
  • DBS check will be required.
