About the ICT Security Team
The
ICT Security Team is looking for a
Security Adviser with the skills and experience to support compliance with security audits, provide security advice for projects and programmes across the council, and provide high quality support to the Security Team.
This role will be within the Digital and ICT Service and provide support and advice to internal customers and partner organisations.
About the role
The Security Team is responsible for ensuring the Council meets its security assurance responsibilities within required deadlines. We work closely with our internal Information Management Team and our third-party security engineers.
Our responsibilities include:
- Management of thirdparty security suppliers
- Support of audit and compliance activities
- Processing of security incidents and requests
- Identification and mitigation of cyber risks
- Support of policy review and policy compliance activity
- Undertaking security assessments of supplier organisations
