If you are looking for a role that makes a real difference to students lives, we are working closely with a mainstream secondary school based near to Royston looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join their team on a temp to perm basis with an immediate start possible.

This post is for a vibrant and purposeful secondary school with a great reputation.

Previous experience of supporting secondary-aged students with SEN needs would be desirable but is not essential.

The role of a Learning Support Assistant/Teaching assistant may be suitable for any graduate interested in teaching or working towards careers in education.


Requirements:


  • Delivery of personcentred approach, onetoone and small group interventions
  • Ability to demonstrate literacy and numeracy skills
  • Capability to sustain the development of pupils, educational and behaviour related
  • Support students to meet their goals through communication, independence, and participation

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
