Description

A Local Authority based in East London is currently recruiting for a Principal Surveyor to join their Commercial team as soon as possible.

The purpose of the role is to have overall responsibility for managing the Council's Commercial Property Portfolio; on of the Council's most important sources of revenue.

The main responsibilities of the role:

Be responsible for managing a small team of surveyors and support staff.
Manager or work in project teams comprised of officers from different services as well as external consultants and contractors.
Develop and implement a Commercial Estate Management Strategy and supporting policies.
Prepare detailed financial reports in respect of current and forecasted income and expenditure.
Be responsible for reviewing the current VCS lettings strategy and policies and for ensuring that all properties within the VCS portfolio are managed in line with this strategy and policy.

The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering between £300 - £350 per day Umbrella LTD Inside IR35.
