An exciting opportunity is available to join a PCI Pharma Services Hay on Wye Site as a Finance Apprentice.
Apprenticeship:
- To actively and enthusiastically work towards successfully achieving the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualification
- To complete any tasks assigned by HWGTA (apprenticeship training provider) or any other training provider to support your apprenticeship
Sales Ledger:
- Processing sales invoicing
- Preparation of schedules to support revenue recognition and cost matching
- Monthly reconciliation of recognised revenue
- Manage customer invoice queries whilst maintaining positive customer relationships
- Production and review of aged debtors' reports, including working with clients to ensure prompt payment of monies due
Purchase Ledger:
- Ensure timely transacting of supplier invoices
- Review of supplier statements
- Receive and respond to supplier queries
- Ensuring timely receipt of goods
- Review and processing of employee cash expenses & employee credit cards in line with PCI Travel and Expenses policy
- Monthly review of aged creditors and goods received not invoiced (GRNI) reports
Other:
- Assisting with yearend audit requests
- Carry out other month end procedures as an when required
- Support with business process improvements and lean ways of working
- Undertake any duties which may reasonably be required of you
- A keen interest in Finance and want to study in this area
- Computer literate with demonstrable experience of Microsoft Office Excel and other associated Microsoft Office packages
- High level of numeracy and literacy skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Able to work effectively and contribute as part of a team
- Able to maintain confidentiality at all times to ensure compliance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders either verbally or via written correspondence
- Previous experience within an office environment
