Job Title:
Senior Sustainability Consultant, Building Design
Location:
Bristol or Manchester
Responsibilities:
- Leading a team of project consultants, ensuring delivery and reporting on sustainability targets.
- Offering comprehensive technical sustainability support to a diverse set of clients.
- Remaining up to date with government policy and industry initiatives related to sustainable energy use and development.
- Developing and maintaining robust relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Participating in bid preparation, budgeting, project, and team management.
Qualifications:
- Degree or higher in sustainability/environment/climate change/carbon management or a related field.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a history of collaborative work.
- Motivated, enthusiastic, and dedicated to achieving sustainable outcomes.
- Adaptive to new challenges and changing project conditions.
- Excellent report writing, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in UK climate change, carbon, and net zero regulations. Familiarity with international regulatory frameworks is a bonus.
- Demonstrable knowledge of BREEAM certification as a BREEAM Accredited Professional is advantageous.
- Is proactive, shows initiative, and is goaloriented.
- Showcases strong technical capabilities.
- Excels in teamwork and has exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Is flexible, welcoming new challenges.
- Is wellorganised, capable of leading multiple concurrent projects.
