Job Description:


  • Job Title: HSEQ Manager
  • Hours: Monday to Friday 08.30 to slightly flexible)
  • Salary: £35,000 £45,000

  • Epping, Essex
  • Office ratio approximately 90% office & 10% site visits

Our client is a successful commercial services and maintenance company, with a head office based in Essex and are looking for someone to head up HSEQ (safety, health, environment, and quality).

The goal is to keep the company certified with ISO 45001 Health& Safety Management, ISO 14001 Environmental Management, ISO 90001 quality Management and maintain a high quality of standard.

We are looking for an experienced, passionate, driven & ambitious person looking for a long-term career.


Responsibilities:

Prepare for and undertake annual ISO audits

  • ISO 4500
  • ISO 1400
  • ISO 90001
Prepare for and undertake annual certification

  • CHAS
  • Safe Contractor
  • Construction Line
  • Altius
  • Other
Day to day duties

  • Complete sitespecific RAMS
  • Complete Generic RAMS
  • Permits for high risk sites
  • H&S questions and queries
  • H&S Inductions for new engineers
  • H&S meetings
  • Inducting new staff & subcontractors
  • Toolbox talks
  • Subcontractor management
  • Office health safety & fire management (first aid boxes, extinguishers, fire alarms etc)
  • Order and issue PPE
  • Keep our compliance CRM system up to date
  • Plus much more

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience in H&S, Environmental &Quality Management
  • NEBOSH
Qualification

  • Strong knowledge of HSE and environmental
  • Experience in safety, health, environment, and quality
  • Previous experience in preparing and undertaking ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9000
  • Excellent communicator at all levels and the functions of the business
  • Selfmanaged and motivated
  • Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
  • Excellent written, oral and presentation skills are essential
  • Good level of PC literacy and Microsoft Office and online portals
  • Maintain strict confidentiality
  • Excellent references
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Teamworking skills
