To assist and support the Head of Service in the maintenance anddevelopment of admin and clerical services across the full range of Alder Centre
activities by
providing modern, professional, administrative, clerical and reception services within the Centre.
The primary purpose of the role is to ensure day to day continuity and consistency of service provision to all of the Centre's users.
However, the postholder will also pro-actively identify any areas of improvement and development of administrative and clerical support systems and procedures, consistent with a modern, professional, psychosocial mental health service.
The post-holder will be fully supportive of the vision, mission, aims and objectives of the Centre and within their role will support the Head of Service in maintaining, developing and promoting a modern, professional and evidence based psychosocial mental health service.

The post-holder will be fully supportive of the vision, mission, aims and objectives of the Centre and within their role will support the Head of Service in maintaining, developing and promoting a modern, professional and evidence based psychosocial mental health service.
The post-holder will ensure the provision of continuous and consistent opening times, reception, administrative and clerical duties.
The post holder will undertake operational reception duties which include telephone enquiries, client referrals and the processing of associated information.
The post holder will play a pro-active part in meeting, greeting and welcoming visitors to the Centre and the promotion of a warm and welcoming therapeutic environment.
The post-holder will communicate and liaise with other internal Trust departments and individuals through a range of interpersonal, electronic and IT media.
The Centre operates evening and occasional weekend activities which will at times, require the Admin. Coordinator to work evenings and weekends.The post holder will be responsible for arranging hospitality for all visitors which will typically include making beverages and associated clearing activities.
The post-holder will produce, maintain and process all manual and IT generated client and Centre information, marketing and public relations material as required daily and periodically.
The Centre works to the ethical standards outlined in the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists Code of Practice and the post-holder will perform to these and other Trust and Centre Policies, paying particular regard to clinical governance, health and safety and client confidentiality.
