    _requires individuals who are experienced__, dedicated, committed, and have a genuine will to make a difference. The goal is to make sure our customers' needs are met, where they feel most comfortable, within their own homes._

_This role requires a Full UK Driving License and access to your own vehicle._

Pay:
£11.00p/hr (FLEXIBLE drivers)

  • Mileage 40p per mile for drivers
  • Parttime hours available
  • Fulltime hours available

Bonus schemes:
up to £300 new starter (based on average hours worked), £300 Refer a Friend, £250 annual bonus. £25 birthday gift voucher


Working hours and shift patterns:


  • Alternate full weekends, or every Saturday or every Sunday
  • Early shift: 7:00am 3:00pm
  • Late shift: 3:00pm 11:00pm


We are looking for
Care Workers
to join our Complex & Palliative Home Care service
- supporting people living across the Newcastle
and Gateshead
areas who have complex care needs, for example, PEG feeds, tracheostomy care, spinal injuries, bowel care, ventilation**.


_Our in-house Nurse will ensure you have the competencies and specialist training for your __role._**

As a
Care Worker, you will work with individuals and their families and provide outstanding person-centred care that promotes independence.

You will support individuals with complex needs to complete day-to-day activities which will enable them to have a high quality of life.

Dependent on the needs of the service user, providing complex care may involve:


  • Nutritional needs via PEG
  • Bowel care
  • Cough assist
  • Tracheostomy care
  • Spinal injury associated care
  • Ventilation needs
  • Assistance with suction
  • Acquired brain injury (ABI) associated needs
  • Support with epilepsy including rescue medication administration
  • Dealing with autonomic dysreflexia (AD) attacks
  • Complex moving and positioning, including the use of equipment

Induction Training


If you have the right values, we will provide you with the training you need to be an outstanding
Care Worker.

You will be provided with a comprehensive induction training programme.

You will be required to participate in additional training dependent on the needs of the service user, this may include but is not limited to:


  • Extensive endoflife training.
  • Complex training and competency spot checks, carried out by our registered nurse.
