- You will be supporting the Head of People during a large project to revamp the overall People function, meaning there will be a range of exciting business objectives to sink your teeth into beyond any standard advisory role
What will you be doing...
- The key focus of this role is allow the Head of People Services to effectively steer the People Department forward, meaning you will have a varied workload fluctuating each week
- You will be a main point of contact for all incoming enquiries from staff, using your knowledge of HR practice and law to guide managers through internal processes and giving sound advice as needed
- Assisting the People Administrator with maintaining the employee database and ensuring all sensitive information is stored securely and is accessible to management staff
- Liaising with the People Team to help draft new policies and create improved workflows to improve the overall service delivery
- Support on casework by using your interpersonal skills to gather evidence and engage with staff to help drive the best outcome for your colleagues and the business overall
- Have at least 2 years previous HR experience at an advisory/generalist level
- A CIPD Level 3 qualification is desirable but equivalent experience will also be considered
- Ability to efficiently organise your own workload and adapt to changing business goals as needed
- Strong people skills and the ability to navigate sensitive conversations with tact and sensitivity
