Assistant Administrator
We are partnering with a public sector organisation, who are seeking an Assistant Administrator. This is a great role offering variety whilst working collaboratively on some great Projects within the community.

As an Assistant Administrator you will be responsible for the servicing of meetings, supporting the chair and the projects team.

What will you be doing?

  • To be responsible for servicing committees and business meetings, by preparing agendas, taking and preparing minutes and quick notes of meetings, collating and preparing agendas and reports and publishing and distributing these as required, setting up online meetings and taking and monitoring actions required as a result of such meetings.
  • Assisting with Procurement for the upcoming projects.
  • To be responsible for ensuring that all committee minutes are accurate, signed by appropriate chairperson and meet audit requirements. and that all staff are provided with Council and committee minutes and details of actions arising therefrom.
  • To provide support to the Chair and Vice Chair to enable him/her to undertake the civic duties of the role by corresponding and liaising with other councils and organisations.
  • To ensure Policies and Procedures are kept under review and up to date and produce reports from any seminars or workshops attended as Assistant Administrator.
  • To update the company's website and social media sites as appropriate.
  • To undertake training and/or attend relevant courses deemed necessary and appropriate.
    What we need from you?
  • Excellent written English, numeracy, and IT abilities;
  • Experience in note taking or minutes.
  • The capacity for effective verbal, phone, and written communication that is tailored to each person's needs.
  • Oversee and plan the work of others.
  • The capacity to collaborate with others in a team environment, demonstrating a willingness to help others and a dedication to achieving the team's goals.

Details:


  • Pay £ 14.00PHR
  • Working a 30hour week with working from home on a Friday
  • Flexible start times between 9am 9.30am

Starting later on Wednesday at 12 as you will need to be available in order to attend council meetings until 7pm.
