Behaviour Teaching Assistant

Qualiteach is currently working with a SEMH School who is looking for an experienced Behaviour Teaching Assistant who can start with them ASAP or in January.

They are looking for someone who is proactive and can come in a hit the ground running.

You will eitherbe classroom based where you will be supporting 6-8 pupils or on a 1:1 basis with a particular child.

All the students you will be supporting will have some form of Social, Emotional or Mental Health Needs.

Due to their needs a few pupils will be working ata lower level than their age and will show challenging behaviour if they become annoyed or are not able to express themselves.

Overall, you will be required to support these students on an educational, emotional and behavioural basis.

Therefore, the idealBehaviour Teaching Assistant for this role must have had previous experience and be understanding and able to build a strong rapport.

SEMH School

Found in the borough of Bromley, this SEMH School caters for pupils aged between 7-18 years with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs.

They currently have 170 pupils who attend and in their last Ofsted in January 2019, they were awarded 'Good' in all areas.
