Finance Business Partner

Permanent, full-time

Up to £38000 per annum

Hybrid (office/work from home)

We specialise in supporting patients in the community, providing nursing services that allow patients to live to their full potential, advising healthcare professionals to prescribe the best medication on the market, and integrating people and digital technology.

The Job

To support the Commercial Finance Manager with commercial activities including: sales, invoicing, budgeting, forecasting, pricing, timesheet liaison, cost base management
To deputise for the Commercial Finance Manager in his absence
To provide performance analysis for Business Unit leaders (eg customer profitability analysis, variance analysis)
To input into revenue recognition decision making and accounting
To support the Financial Controller with month end accounting and reporting as required (eg balance sheet reconciliations)
To support with processing expenses if needed
Assist with the resolution of finance related queries coming into the department
To recommend process improvements and ensure processes are being properly followed
To seek to continually improve processes and support the continuous improvement culture
Provide cover for other finance team people as required
Ad hoc analysis as required
To work effectively within a dynamic environment, and to assist in driving a continuous improvement culture

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years' experience working in a busy finance team
Experience of Business Partnering including exposure to budgeting and forecasting and keen to understand revenue and cost base dynamics
Experience of analysing information and drawing conclusions
Experience of posting transactions onto an accounting system in a timely and accurate manner
A flexible team player, willing to support colleagues at busy times as needed
Understanding of month end processes
Accounting qualification (including QBE)
