What you'll be doing

You'll maintain and improve existing active strategies developed infrastructure, primarily in VBA, python and SQL
Develop new platforms, both independently and working alongside LGIM's central IT teams
Suggest and develop process and system improvements within the Research team with a focus on ESG
Work with Research Analysts and Portfolio Managers to identify and analyse themes across credit and equity markets using quantitative techniques

What we're looking for

BA/BSc (or equivalent)
Mathematics to Alevel (or equivalent)
At least 5 years of experience programming in Python and VBA
You'll have experience working with numerical analysis
Comfortable with large datasets.
Ability to effectively structure, analyse, manipulate, query and summarize variations of datasets such as files, tables or services.
Logical thinker
Fluent English speaker
