Background:
This role sits with the Marketing and Student Recruitment Team within the Marketing and External Relations Department.
We are responsible for planning and delivering City's undergraduate and postgraduate marketing and student recruitment activities in the UK and overseas.
This role is part of the International Student Recruitment Team, who are responsible for City's undergraduate and postgraduate international student recruitment activities.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for City's international student recruitment activities in China and East Asia, including the planning and delivery of in-country promotional engagements, managing regional agent networks and liaising with pathway providers and school counsellors.
The role also includes the line management of the International Student Recruitment Officer responsible for the same region and any in-country representation if applicable.
Person Specification:
You will have knowledge and experience in the recruitment of international students from China and East Asia to UK Higher Education.
The role requires the post holder to possess excellent presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences through a variety of mediums.
The post holder will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to persuade and influence others. The ability to work unsupervised for extended periods in often unfamiliar environments whilst balancing competing priorities is essential. The post holder will be fluent in Mandarin (reading, writing, listening and speaking).Additional Information:
