Our client is seeking a Nominated Individual - Ofsted to provide senior leadership for their Children's Home in Milton Keynes.

Salary:
up to £400 per day, DOE

Job type:
Part-time, 5 days a month - Permanent.

Our client provides safe and nurturing environments for children who are unable to live with their families, recognising that their emotional wellbeing is just as important as their physical health.

As the Nominated Individual, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and maintaining high standards of care within our organisation.

This is a crucial role that requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of the care industry.

Day to day responsibilities:

Oversee the daytoday operations of the home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high standards of care.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement.
Provide guidance and support to staff members, ensuring they are trained and competent in their roles.
Act as a point of contact for Ofsted, responding to inquiries and providing necessary documentation.
Collaborate with other stakeholders, such as parents, guardians, and external agencies, to ensure the wellbeing of the individuals in our care.
Stay up to date with changes in legislation and best practices in the care industry.

About you:

At least 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably as a Nominated Individual/Registered Manager within an Ofstedregulated setting
Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and requirements
Experience in managing and leading a team.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
Driver with access to your own vehicle

Please note that the exact location of the Children's Home is still to be determined and may not be in the Southampton area.

It is therefore essential that you drive and have access to your own vehicle.
