Cover Supervisor in Southwark
Are you passionate about education and looking for an opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of secondary school students in Southwark?


Complete Classroom Services have a fantastic opportunity for you to join their dedicated team as a Cover Supervisor in Secondary Schools in Southwark and surrounding boroughs.


As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a constructive learning atmosphere when teachers are absent.

You will be responsible for supervising and managing classrooms, ensuring students' safety, and delivering pre-set work provided by the absent teacher.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Supervise and manage the classroom in the absence of the regular teacher.
  • Deliver preplanned lessons and ensure that students remain on task.
  • Manage student behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Provide support to students with their learning when necessary.
  • Liaise with teaching staff and report any issues or concerns.
  • Maintain an organised and tidy classroom environment.
  • Uphold the school's policies and procedures.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience working with young people or in an educational setting is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle challenging situations with patience and composure.
  • A passion for education and a genuine interest in supporting students' development.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
