The Scottish FA is seeking to recruit a Regional Education Officer to join our Football Department.

The post holder will play a vital role in Scottish FA in supporting and training more of the 'Grassroots' workforce to enable the sport to further develop; specifically, they will be involved in three main areas of work:
(i) the coordination and delivery of the regional Scottish FA Coach Education program, (ii) the coordination and delivery of the Scottish FA CashBack for Communities project, and (iii) the coordination of the Scottish FA Let Them Play Campaign.

This vacancy is fixed term until July 2025, however, this may be extended.

Interviews will take place on Friday 24th November 2023.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate and deliver the educational and other related CashBack projects, with a particular objective of delivering the 'Alternative Education' programme.
  • Coordinate and deliver the regional Scottish FA Coach Education programme (a 30% delivery per year to national level one/two courses)
  • Support the development of the Scottish FA Player Pathway/Offering and deliver agreed workshops/programmes.
  • Coordinate and support the delivery of the Scottish FA Let Them Play Campaign.
  • Support the development and delivery of the Learning Through Football project.
  • Support the delivery of key Scottish FA participation projects.
  • Support wider Football Department initiatives when required.
  • Support on an agreed national Football Development project/steering group
  • To carry out any other reasonable duties that may arise from time to time or be assigned by the Regional Partnership Manager.
