East Kent Hospitals is looking to develop a team of Anaesthesia Associates (AAs).

This is a new venture and we are keen to recruit motivated and enthusiastic qualified AAs to work in East Kent Hospitals.

Initially we are looking to recruit to 2 posts.

It is expected that the successful applicants will work with the Anaesthetic Departments and the Trust to then grow the qualified AA workforce as well as implement and mentor local trainee AA posts.

East Kent Hospitals is one of the Largest Trusts in the country, based across 3 acute sites.

We perform over 45,000 surgeries a year and are now looking to develop a permanent, dedicated Anaesthesia Associate workforce to help us deliver excellent patient care.

Working closely with the Consultant Anaesthetist, you will have a key role in helping deliver anaesthetic services and providing high quality patient care.

East Kent Hospitals is comprised of 3 major surgical hubs are located in Ashford, Canterbury and Margate.

We provide a wide variety of general and specialist surgical services including General Surgery, Orthopaedics, ENT, Max Fax, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Vascular, Urology and Ophthalmology.

The William Harvey Hospital in Ashford is also one of 3 Trauma Units in the county.
