Description

As a driver, you will ensure the safe and efficient collection of products from manufacturing, packing these into the delivery vehicle then safely delivering to assembly to ensure smooth business operations.

The company

British Engines Group Company, CMP Products, is a leading designer, manufacturer and supplier of cable glands, cable cleats and cable accessories.

CMP manufactures its products from three facilities based in Cramlington, Northumberland, and has a global distribution network, supported by ten offices spread across six continents from Houston, USA, to Busan in South Korea.

What you'll be doing

Collecting products and transporting between units
Loading and unloading products on the van
Ensuring products are transported safely
Moving stock around either by hand, using lifting equipment or with a fork lift truck
Ensuring paperwork updated
Collecting or delivering goods to customers and or suppliers
Maintaining good communications with the team and other departments
Working in a safe manner; driving positive behaviour and leading by example with regard to the company's health, safety and environmental policies
Carrying out any other responsibilities not listed above as may reasonably be expected

Who we are looking for
We are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills, is organised and self-motivated with enthusiasm for the role

This position will be on a full time, permanent basis. Working hours are a weekly rotation of 6am to 2pm then 2pm to 10pm.
