We have an exciting new opportunity for a Change Lead to deliver a varied range of Business Resilience Turnaround projects.


In this role, you will support the development of solutions that will enable the Business Resilience initiative to deliver significant change.

Targeted investment and enhanced foundational capability, will enable Thames Water to live with asset deficit to reduce the risk of service failures and improve recovery when it occurs.


What you'll be doing as a Change Lead
This role will support the continual improvement of business resilience, including working with stakeholders to:

  • Successful delivery of strategically important change initiatives within the area of responsibility.
  • Management of the initiative plan and its deliverables, with effective sprint cadence and clear leading indicators and outcomes.
  • Manage risk issues and change in a fully transparent manner.
  • Support the design, development, delivery and management of communications and training.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews on inflight change initiatives to assess change management delivery or diagnose issues.
  • Support managers and leaders in their role in successfully delivering change.
  • This is a hybrid role with base location of Clearwater Court in Reading.

What you should bring to the role

  • A great team player with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Have a full valid driving license as you will have to travel across the Thames Water catchment area.
  • You'll have a proven track record of delivering business change and will be able to demonstrate a strong external customer service ethic.
  • Being an excellent communicator, both written and verbal at all levels you will be an effective leader and influencer, able to liaise and negotiate with stakeholders both internal and external.
  • Experience working within a matrix management.
  • Endtoend experience in designing and delivering change and embedding into business as usual.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills can demonstrate evidence of developing and maintaining strong and effective relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels in an organisation.
