The main responsibilities of the Assistant Accountant include:

Assist with the monthly cash flow forecasts and complete reviews on actual performance, identifying any discrepancies to help drive efficiencies.
Support the Management Accountants and Finance Manager with detailed financial models and analysis by gathering and entering data, ultimately helping to aid the strategic decision making.
Responsible for monthly reviews of costs for a large number of sites, including sales positions, development expenditures, movement analysis and more.
Liaising with a range of departments across the organisation to ensure the cost coding and reporting is completed to the highest level of accuracy.

Either a Finance and/or Accounting degree or actively studying towards and accounting qualification.

years' experience in a Finance / Commercial role.

An ability to handle large data sets.
An eagerness to learn, be a proactive selfstarter and passionate about shaping their finance career.
An excellent communicator and strong teamplayer.
