Finance Assistant (Purchase Ledger)


Basis:
Full Time 35 Hours per week Monday to Friday


Type:
Temporary ongoing


Location:
London Bridge SE- 2 weeks training full time in office then Hybrid 2 days in office 3 days from home

Our client are looking for an experienced finance assistant to join their team on an ongoing contract to covered a busy period of the financial year.

They are looking for someone who is experienced in invoice processing who can quickly and accurately check supplier invoices before being logged, processed, coded and paid withing agreed settlement terms

Job Role -

  • Reviewing invoices received to ensure validity.
  • Ensure all invoices are entered on to the purchase ledger system daily as per departmental deadlines.
  • Match invoices with PO's for processing approval and payment.
  • Ensure all invoices are correctly authorised per the Financial Regulations.
  • Minimum 12 years working in a finance/accounts/purchase ledger role
  • Basic knowledge of Data protection i.e. Confidentiality and Equal Opportunities.
  • Selfmotivated, performance driven with initiative to assess complex situations and make decisions quickly and effectively and deliver excellent internal and external customer service.
