Description
to assist patients with hygiene needs, toileting needs, feeding and hydration.

Supporting the nursing staff with undertaking observations.

Completing nursing documentation when deemed competent.

Ensuring the ward is clean and tidy as per infection control standards.

Adhering to all Trust Policies and Procedures as per role.

Ward 7 staff work with the Multi-Disciplinary team that are all driven with the same passion for quality care.

Our ward has a busy fast pace which boasts a cohort of multi-disciplinary staff that are all driven with the same passion for quality care.

The posts are primarily working on ward 7 cardiology ward but with occasional rotation to the Cardiac Intervention Unit as required.

To assist nursing staff in caring for patients requires elective or emergency cardiac procedures.

This include supporting registrant with pre-op, intra-op & post-op patients care, tasks that are deemed suitable for band 2 support worker.

Including supporting the nursing staff with undertaking observations.

Completing nursing documentation when deemed competent.

Ensuring the ward is clean and tidy as per infection control standards.

Adhering to all Trust Policies and Procedures as per role.
