Driver Hire Edinburgh City are currently recruiting for experienced Class 2 (Cat C / HGV 2) skip drivers for collections and drop-offs of skips within Edinburgh and surrounding areas.
New-passes are welcome to apply

A typical day includes:

0615 starts Monday to Friday
Duties of this role include working within residential areas and building sites, dealing with the collections and deliveries of skips to / from customers. This role also involves the general housekeeping of the working area and lorry, and cooperating with management and coworkers.
This is ongoing work with the opportunity to be taken on permanently after a 12week probationary period of working with the client though us.

We ask that all applicants have:

A valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
No more that 6 penalty points (
no DD, DR, or IN endorsements accepted due to insurance purposes)
As this is a customerfacing role, good customer service is a must
Experience is preferred, however new drivers with the right attitude are welcome

Rate of pay:
- £11.50 p/h basic
- £15.33 p/h overtime rate (after 8 hours per day)
