The Role

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, write, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including user manuals, operation guides, installation instructions, and maintenance procedures.
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to gather technical information and ensure the accuracy and completeness of the documentation.
Review and edit documents created by others to ensure clarity, consistency, and quality.
Create diagrams, charts, and other visual aids to enhance the understanding of technical information.
Ensure all documentation complies with industry standards and regulations.
Manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to deadlines.
Conduct regular reviews and updates of existing documentation to reflect changes in project specifications, equipment, and processes.
Use document management systems to organise and maintain document archives.
Provide support during technical presentations and training sessions, as needed.
Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to the water industry.

About You

Skills:

Expertise in creating clear, concise, and accurate technical documents.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with PDF creation and editing software.
Skilled in creating and interpreting technical drawings, diagrams, and schematics.
Understanding of general engineering terms, parts, and functions.
Preferred knowledge of the water treatment industry.
Ability to understand and document engineering processes and specifications.
Familiarity with documentation standards such as IEEE, ISO, and other relevant industryspecific guidelines.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Engineering, or a related field.
Previous experience in technical writing or a similar role.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing highquality documentation.
