ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK

SURREY BASED

PERMANENT SALARY:
£24,000 - £28,000

The Opportunity:
Absolute Recruit are currently working with a high-end construction company. They are looking for an enthusiastic, progressive, and organised individual to join the ever-growing finance team.

This opportunity will see you taking full ownership of the accountspayable process, supporting the wider business and its many entities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Bank reconciliations
  • Payment runs
  • Recording and filing a high level of invoices
  • Calculating VAT payments
  • Managing petty cash
  • Accurate data entry
  • Processing staff expenses
  • Communicating with externals vendors and suppliers
  • Compiling company reports
  • Make payments via BACS or CHAPS
Key Skills

  • Actively studying accounting qualification, ACCA, ACA or CIMA (preferable)
  • Minimum one year of Accounts Payable experience
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Sage 200 accounting software
  • Time keeping
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Selfdiscipline
  • Team player
  • Numerical skills
  • Administration
