Main Purpose of the Role

Reporting to the Production Control Manager, you will manage the team of Production Controllers to coordinate and organise production requirements.

Key Accountabilities

Ensuring the data integrity in the ERP system, management of the planning log over both open and closed die production.
Ensuring that product is expediated as required and issues are escalated to the appropriated level for fixes, acting as first point of escalation for communicating with customers about jobs in progress.
Management and expediting of orders from order receipt to despatch.
Feedback progress to rest of business and management team regarding progress as required.
Responsible for reporting on and meeting KPIs for management of the plan.
Project management of major orders or customers.
Covering for other roles in Production Control department as required.
Keeping the production units on track to hit the relevant KPI's.

Skills and Experience

Essential:

IT literacy
Communication skills (spoken and written)
Numeracy skills.
Good planning and organisation skills in production environments.
Excellent communication skills to expediate work as needed for the customer. Attention to detail.
Selfmotivated and determined to succeed.
Good interpersonal skills, particularly teamwork.
Ability to plan and organise workload.
Proactive approach.
Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team.
