Hoop Professional Services are working with a well-established, expanding manufacturing business who are looking for a new Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis

Although having experience in these areas isn't necessary, in this role you will:

  • Manage purchase ledger invoices
- matching invoices to purchase orders and goods received.

  • Prepare supplier payments and allocate those payments to the companies accounting software.
  • Reconcile supplier statements.
  • Manage any discrepancies and query anything with the department.
  • Reconcile credit card expenses.
  • Post and allocate receipts.
  • Maintain the dales ledger data and files.
  • Post daily bank transactions to the software.
  • Arrange bank payments and transfers.
  • Manage the petty cash.
  • Analyst time and attendance systems for payroll.
  • Assist with processing weekly and monthly payrolls.
  • Support with month end.
  • Input monthly journals.
  • Assist with the annual audit.


This is a very broad role and will give you a great understanding of many aspects of finance in a fast moving, busy environment.


Person specification:

  • Graduate or up to a years' experience in finance.
  • Good IT and systems skills including Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to work in a team.
