Navis Consulting has an exciting opportunity for a Boatbuilder with an eye for detail and a pride in quality craftmanship to join a Boatyard near Exeter.

Our client has built-up a solid reputation within the marine industry.


Must have:

  • Good customer service skills
  • Marine general knowledge
  • GRP/ Gel coat repair
  • Woodworking

Nice to have:

  • Painting/ Varnishing
  • Rigging
  • Crane Driving and/or banksman
  • Boat handling (on the water)
  • Boat moving (shorebased with trailers, movers, trolleys, etc.)
  • Marine electronics
  • Marine wiring
  • Boat fit out
  • Marine plumbing
  • Engine install
  • Boat valet/cleaning/guardianage

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Pay:
£12.00-£17.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Exeter, Devon: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

Boat Building: 2 years (preferred)
Marine Industry: 4 years (preferred)
