Maintenance Engineer

Permanent

Salary:
£40,000 - £45,000

Sunday to Thursday 10PM - 6AM Sunday to Thursday

Maintenance Engineer

Carrying out preventative maintenance and condition monitoring of manufacturing machinery and facilities as per the inspection schedules. Maintaining accurate records of findings and works carried out
Diagnosing faults and repairing machines in a safe manner to minimise downtime and cost
Anticipating machine failures and making such changes or recommendations to prevent reoccurrence and to minimise downtime
Identifying and carrying out machine upgrades

Maintenance Engineer

Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications:

Demonstratable experience carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance on a range of machinery
Strong electrical and mechanical skills
Holder of a relevant qualification (City and Guilds/NVQ3/HNC/ in electrical mechanical)
Pneumatic and Hydraulic knowledge, along with PLC, inverter, instrumentation and control experience
You must hold a valid UK driving license and have experience in a heavy industrial environment
