Service Care Legal are currently working alongside a Local Authority, based in the West Midlands, which is in need of a
Senior Legal Assistant to join their
Childcare team.

This role would be best suited to
NQ Solicitors and Legal Executives or
very experienced Paralegals.

Role:
Senior Legal Assistant - Childcare team

Location:
West Midlands, hybrid working

Rate:
£25 to £30ph Umbrella

Contract Length: 3 months ongoing, 37 hours a week

The role requirements of a Senior Legal Assistant:

Undertake administrative work in relation to Children Act 1989 and Adoption & Children Act 2002 proceedings
Prepare Childcare court bundles
Attend and represent the client at private law hearings when directed by the Court or the Trust
To assist colleagues with undertaking the advocacy for public law childcare hearings

The Person:

A qualified solicitor/Legal executive or Barrister with 2+ years of experience in Childcare law
Ideally someone who has worked within the public sector
Someone which excellent verbal and written communication skills and is comfortable with advocacy
