Our Team
Talent Management & Operations is the connective team between on-screen Talent and the businesses of Warner Bros.

Discovery (WBD) to effectively and efficiently manage the Talents' business strategy, prioritise their activities, align with Production, and optimise operations.


As the Talent's key relationship holder at WBD, Talent Management & Operations strategically manages relationships with Talent, their representatives, production companies and internal clients.

The department casts, contracts, onboards, assesses, coaches, advocates, prioritises and manages the Talent to help drive subscriptions, ratings, revenue, relationships, renewals and brand growth.


Your New Role


The Talent Management & Operations Specialist position offers operational support for the London-based team responsible for WBD UK & Ireland unscripted Talent and WBD Sports Europe Talent.

He/she also helps to connect the London-based team with teams responsible for Talent Management in other markets across the global business.


Talent Management & Operations serves to mentor on-screen Talent, advise relevant WBD business units on Talent related issues, troubleshoot Talent issues and build the Talents' brand in partnership with the business.

This person will have several Talent they are responsible for and manage on a day-to-day basis.

This person will also facilitate logistics for network and corporate events featuring Talent. He/she will be partner with Talent Managers, Marketing, Events, Corporate, Ad Sales etc. to staff and manage on-ground communications, operations and logistics.


Your Role Accountabilities

  • Work with the VP of Talent Management and Director of Talent Management to coordinate and manage operational needs and client requests to support the management of WBD UK & Ireland unscripted Talent and WBD Sports Europe Talent.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders looking to leverage Talent, including Production, Production Management, Streaming, Business Affairs, Legal, Ad Sales, Marketing, Communications, Digital and Social.
  • Establish relationships with WBD Sports Europe markets to gather and compile information about their proposed Talent lineups, commercial terms and contracting strategy to facilitate the central approval process.
  • Coordinate with the network of Talent liaison leads across International markets to provide resources and share best practices.
  • Manage select oncamera Talent, serving as a mentor to the Talent. Advise respective WBD brands on Talent related issues and focus on maximising opportunities with the Talent in partnership with internal stakeholders.
  • Support with contract management, tracking and executive summary drafting for the WBD Sports Europe Talent.
  • Attend internal meetings to learn, contribute, represent and report back priorities and plans to support promotion and related Talent requests.
  • Track show schedules and promotion windows for Talentled unscripted shows and sports events.
  • Provide Talent Management support at events. Create internal briefing documents to ensure internal stakeholders are wellbriefed ahead of Talent meetings and Talent events.
  • Share social media assets for Talent to post on their own social media platforms to promote their show/sport and their relationship with WBD.
  • Follow and monitor Talent social media profiles and raise timely red flags with appropriate internal partners.
  • Book and monitor Talent travel and accommodation for nonproduction needs (e.g. events, shoots etc).
  • Prepare and share briefing materials with Talent.
  • Input and maintain Talent information in WBD's confidential Talent database, including contract information, contact info, interests etc.
  • Provide Operational support to the Talent Management & Operations team, including budget management, yearend gifting, Top Talent reports and presentation creation.
  • Oversee nonproduction payments and be the liaison between the Talent and WBD's financial department.
  • Track milestone in Talents' personal and professional lives and manage gifting programme for WBD UK (unscripted) and WBD Sports Europe Talent.
