The opportunity


Global Health Sciences & Wellness remains one of the fastest growing Industry Market Groups in EY, and this is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a team whose clients are transforming to be fit for the future and who put the patient experience at the heart of what they do.


In this maternity coverage position, you primarily work with the Global Life Sciences Brand, Marketing, Communication (BMC) Lead, supporting on the key priorities and global marketing programs and campaigns that will help support the business objectives of the Global Life Sciences sector.

You will also have the opportunity to work across the entire Industry Market team, by also supporting the wider Global Health Sciences & Wellness team, which includes our Global Health sector.


This position is also responsible for advising leadership on best practices and coordinating strategic programs that align to business priorities, tracking results, as well as leveraging our integrated Brand Marketing & Communications (BMC) ecosystem.

This position works closely with internal stakeholders across all pillars of the BMC organization and senior partners in Global Health Sciences & Wellness.


Your key responsibilities


The role is multi-dimensional and will allow this person to work on multiple projects across Global Health Sciences & Wellness and across the firm.


Some of the top responsibilities include:

  • Help support the implementation of the annual Global Health Sciences & Wellness marketing plan.
  • Analyze and interpret key campaign performance success indicators using a variety of analytical tools and suites available.
  • Build a network with counterparts across the service lines, industries, and within our key regions, and collaborate with them to ensure that global and regional marketing programs are aligned, and global sector content is deployed through local channels.
  • Build relationships with the Health Sciences & Wellness leadership team globally, as well regional Health Sciences & Wellness BMC teams, and Knowledge and Operations Leaders.
  • Work closely with, and coach, the Global Delivery Services (GDS) team who help support and deploy our campaigns. In addition, you will work closely with several of our external vendors including PR and production of our podcast episodes, as well as vendors and contractors who assist with content, events, videos, and writing support.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Proven track record in driving marketing programs across global and highly matrixed organizations
  • Enables and demonstrates innovative thinking and serves as a BMC advisor to the business
  • Enables knowledge sharing throughout BMC and EY; connects all facets of the business when initiating, developing and implementing marketing projects; helps the business address its big issues; serves as an organizational connector
  • Substantial brand, marketing and communications experience in a worldclass global organization and an understanding of EY's audiences and matrixed organization is essential

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor's degree with 58 years of marketing experience
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Knowledge of podcast or video production, or be willing to learn and own the podcast series
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as listening and interpretation skills
  • Possesses poise and confidence to professionally interact with all levels of leadership
  • Ability to oversee significant portions of major or highly complex projects

Ideally, you'll also have

  • Adobe analytics experience
  • Marketo experience
  • SEO/SEM experience
  • Analytical skills relevant to assessing KPIs and proven success of marketing initiatives
  • Ability to work independently on marketing initiatives
  • Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills including the development of others
