About us

  • To help us support this work, we are now looking for a Fundraising Coordinator to join our successful Development team on a fulltime permanent basis. In this role, you would be based at the Science Museum in London on a hybrid basis.

About the role

  • As well as acting as first point of contact for all enquiries coming into the Director of Development, and managing diaries, you will enable the efficient running and the administration needed for a busy office that cultivates and manages a wide range of fundraising relationships.
  • You will be resourcefully supporting the department to reach income targets and closely manage strong funding partnerships. You will have the opportunity to represent the Team by welcoming VIP guests and join pivotal meetings that steer the direction of SMG.

This role gives you the opportunity to get involved in a variety of fascinating projects in fast-moving departments, all of which are at the forefront of SMG's ambitious plans as well as supporting the Science Museum Foundation.

  • With experience of managing a busy and varied workload, you have a flexible, highly organised, responsive and efficient approach to your work. Having previously managed a varied workload requiring strong prioritisation skills, you're a team player and enjoy supporting others. As a strong communicator with great interpersonal skills, you will be able to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels, demonstrating tact and professionalism.
