The role


Our Worcester Department Store Café have an exciting opportunity for a hardworking, enthusiastic and passionate individual to join the team as a Café Supervisor.

You will have responsibility to ensure the high standards of food and drink are met through the preparation and serving of drinks and meals including sandwiches, salads and hot snacks whilst having an input on an innovative menu, maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and food hygiene throughout.


You will have responsibility for the day to day supervision of the café and supervising a team of volunteers in the Café.


About you


Previous experience in a catering establishment such as a café, restaurant or bar is required and experience of food preparation and Barista experience are requirements for the role.

Experience of supervising a team would be beneficial.

The successful applicant will be self-motivated, adaptable and able to work on their own initiative. A flexible attitude to working is essential. In addition, you will need to have high standards of customer service and food safety.

You will be working mostly day shifts and weekend work is expected on Saturdays.


This post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check and may require supervision of volunteers under the age of 18.
